Several of our customers have also asked about mold problems with Beneful dry dog food. Most recently, in February 2007, DoggyBling.com reported two dogs in Huntsville, Texas had died after purchasing Beneful from Walmart in December 2006. Subsequently other reports appeared of dogs becoming ill from Beneful. Beneful is manufactured by Purina and they have issued a statement that they are aware of these issues and are investigating. The Pet Pantry dog and cat food is not manufactured by Purina and is not associated with any of these reports or claims.
